OOC: Here we go! Basilfur padded across the hunting grounds of the Islands aimlessly, feeling the soft moss tickle her paw pads. She had managed to extract herself from the watchful eye of Huskyspark by declaring that she was going hunting. Well, it wasn't completely a lie. She could always just get something on the way back.
Bowing her head, Basilfur walked farther and farther away from the stronghold, not wanting to meet any member of her Pack. She felt a tightening in her chest, and tried to push it away. Sighing, she sat down when she arrived at a clearing, her mind reeling, trying to contemplate her life.
Why was it so bland? And miserable? And lonely? Sure, she had friends here, but they were all starting to get mates and start families. And where was she, Basilfur? She knew a couple of handsome males in her Pack, but they never paid attention to her. Her deepest longing was to start a family-- and no one was willing to do that with her. There were always prettier wolves in the Pack. No matter what she did, she couldn't beat the beauty of her fellow female comrades. She heaved a sigh, and lay down, casting her eyes downward.
A thought, rooted at the very back of her head, pushed forward. She didn't even think this thought would exist anymore, but it spoke to her right then:
Was it a mistake to leave Southern Snow? If she had just waited a while, until her problems with her brothers would become nonimportant, would she have enjoyed living in the Pack? After all, it wasn't like they hated her. She just didn't feel like she belonged-- but wasn't that part of growing up? Finding out who you were, and establishing your identity? She had chosen hers to be a Northern Island soldier. But sneaking over the border that starless night had been an extremely impulsive move, and once she was over, she knew she wouldn't be able to return. She hadn't even considered what she was going to do if she wasn't accepted. Thank SparkPack Cinderspark was kindhearted enough to do so.
She missed Winterspark. They hadn't talked long since she was still a pupil in Southern Snow, and he a pup, her baby brother. He was now too busy to chat during Congretations, and she doubted that they could ever get back the relationship they'd had before. It was just too late.
Heaving another sigh, Basilfur closed her eyes, missing Winterspark so much it ached. Yet, he was as much of a stranger to her as any of his other Packmates. He'd changed so much.
Using his transport wolf to travel to Compass Rose once more, Fleshspark appeared in Northern Islands territory, looking for yet another female to sire his heirs. This time, though, he used the strength of a new pack member to make his form appear as a galactic affiliated wolf. With a white belly and star riddled, black pelt, Fleshspark opened his electric blue eyes to peer around at his surroundings. The moss beneath his paws and the species of trees around him showed him that he was in the hunting grounds.
What's even better, he scented a possible dam not too far away. Head and tail held high, Fleshspark trotted after the scent to find a white and amber fire wolf. Seeing her down trodden slump of her shoulders and closed eyes, the deceitful brute sarcastically thanked Spark Pack for his luck. He padded up to her side, his blue and purple tail swooping over her back.
"'Ello, dear," he greeted with a foreign accent, "why so lost? A volf as lovely as you should be 'appy." he crooned, looking at her with hooded, flirty eyes. He may be dead, but he still knew how to woo the females.
OOC: Handsome guy. Basilfur had scented someone, but wasn't in the mood to look up. She heard pawsteps coming close to her. Darn. Looks like she would have to interact with him or her after all.
The scent was strange. It wasn't like any wolf she knew... nor was it the stench of any of the rival Packs. A Transport wolf, maybe?
"'Ello, dear," said a male voice with an unfamiliar accent, "why so lost? A volf as lovely as you should be 'appy."
She looked up, surprised at his way of talking. Her breath caught slightly. He was very good-looking. Immediately, she stood up, posing a guarded pose, her face scrunched together. Even if he was handsome, he was still a handsome stranger.
Basilfur looked him over suspiciously. Deep down, though, she couldn't help but feel flattered by his words, even if it was probably just a passing remark. "I've never seen a wolf like you," she said, frowning. "Are you a Transport? Because you don't have wings."
Fleshspark let out a bark of laughter, his eyes twinkling like his fur. He kept his chin high as he sat down, showing that her defensive pose had no effect on him.
"I am a Thorian volf. I come in search for a mate. I 'ave traveled all across zeh Compass Rose and you, love, are zeh prettiest one yet. Tell me, fräulein, why are you alone?" He tilted his head down and to the side with sadness drawing his brows together. Yes, she was pretty, but she was the loneliest. Fleshspark already knew of her past with Southern Snow, which made her the perfect target to seduce. She was also a strong she wolf, and would give his pups excellent genes, make them strong like parents.
"I can be your friend, if you vish." he purred, blinking his swirling blue and purple eyes innocently, ready to draw her towards him. He wasn't sure how long it would take to take her as his, but he knew the time he put in would be worth it.
OOC: Handsome guy. "I am a Thorian volf," said the wolf in his exotic accent. "I come in search for a mate. I 'ave traveled all across zeh Compass Rose and you, love, are zeh prettiest one yet. Tell me, fräulein, why are you alone?"
A mate? Basilfur's heart leapt, but she stopped it. She'd only known him for a couple of minutes. She couldn't be hoping to have pups with him anytime soon. But it was a tangible reality...
"I can be your friend, if you vish," he continued.
"Yeah, I can start with that," she said, grinning widely in spite of her previous thoughts. "But you haven't even told me your name yet. I'm Basilfur, by the way," she added, standing up to face him. "Where are you from? Do the Thorians live elsewhere?"

The magicked brute could tell the female was having mixed thoughts for a moment, almost ruining his plan. Stupid she wolf. But, after a few seconds of hesitation, she seemed to be smart and chose the right decision. She agreed to his offer of friendship, then continued with, "But you haven't even told me your name yet. I'm Basilfur, by the way. Where are you from? Do the Thorians live elsewhere?"
To answer her former question, Fleshspark stated, "I am Loki, named after the false brother of Thor. My mother used to say that she could see my mischief the day I was born." he explained, then went on to address the latter query. "Thoria is zeh continent above Compass Rose. 'Is connected by a thin strip of land called Eagle Claw. Zee packs zere are spread out, and most smaller ones are nomadic. We aren't close like your packs are."
He paused for a few heartbeats and just looked at Basilfur. "I must admit, I am not sure how long I can remain happy as just a friend." he informed her a bit bluntly, but looked at her with his head down sheepishly. He was, after all, the "trickster god."

Basilfur's heart leapt, quite taken by this handsome guy. However, something tugged at her. He was definitely asking her to be his mate. There was no doubt about it. But was she ready to bear his pups now?
Of course, there were many females in the world. He could always find someone else. It wouldn't be hard; there were probably tons of she-wolves out there who were ten times as good-looking as her. She didn't want to pass up the opportunity.
"In due time," she said carefully, "we'll get closer than friends, if that's what you want. However, I think we should spend at least a... er, day or two to get to know each other. You know, so we can start a real family. I belong to a Pack though, so you'll have to join. What powers do you have?"

"Loki" nodded along to Basilfur's reasoning. He was a patient brute; he would wait a few days for her to accept his desires. Just a couple days was a small portion compared to the years he has waited to bring the reign of Night Minions upon Compass Rose. He had no quarrel with the she-wolf's offer. He thumped his tail on the ground to prove it.
"That is a very acceptable suggestion." he agreed verbally, then continued on to answer her next question. "My minor powers include the ability to create little galaxies and constellations around me," he explained as a miniature Andromeda galaxy orbited around his head, "and make a small sun light my path at night. In battles, I can create only a small pawful of supernovas to stun my enemies, and I have the ability to morph into a stream of stars to flee in retreat."
Fleshspark gave a nonchalant shrug, looking around at the leaves above them. "I am not the one who usually backs down, though." he said with a smug baring of his pearly white teeth.
Basilfur nodded, intrigued. She had never met a galaxy wolf before, and she was sure that there wasn't one in any of the Packs. He was otherworldly, and his mysteriousness excited her. She was always looking for adventure.
"I'm glad to hear that," she said. "Neither am I. Would you like to come back to my Pack with me? If Huskyspark, our leader, lets you, that is. If not, then I will go with you. It's not fair for you to be alone in such a different place." With a whoosh, she transformed into a ball of flame, hovering in midair, waiting for him.
OOC: Sorry for the late response, and the short post... should we bring Huskyspark into the picture now?

At the mention of the blasted Northern Islands alpha, Fleshspark mentally snarled, but made sure that his face remained neutral. No need to blow his cover now. Instead, he seemed to think it over, his eyes and head tilting off to the side in thought. He shook his head after a moment
"No, dear, I don't think your noble leader would take too kindly to a strange male. I assure you, though, I do not mind wandering alone, as long as you are by my side," he consoled, looking up at the female with a kind of gentleness in his eyes. "But I am certainly up for a bit of play."
The brute got to his paws with a chuckle. This dam will surely be an interesting conquer for the fake galactic wolf. His grin was more of a one of a beast than what a male playing with his prospective mate would give. He flexed his front paws, then leaped into the air, curling into a ball of stars and galaxies. He swirled around the ball of fire, waiting to see what she will do next.
NOTES: lol no Husky! She'll know something's up, and he doesn't like having to hold himself back from killing her lol
Welcome to Compass Ross Packs territories. These wolves are... different than those of Earth. They live in a different realm, and the only way in or out is through the Transport wolves.
What are these wolves, you ask? These wolves have magic on their fur and the elements in their blood. These wolves have power. But will they use them for good, or for evil? That is up to you.
