PARTHAEUS
123 years
Male
Heterosexual
Alpha
Pack: Lödengard
Power: Air
APPEARANCE
Parthaeus is a large, long-furred male wolf with a coat as silvery as the moon, with some white on his chest, face, and tail tip. He has yellow-amber eyes. His entire build is rather slim, but the large mane around his chest and shoulders make his front appear large and bulky. He has skinny yet powerful legs that are built for running long distances.
PERSONALITY
Parthaeus (Parth) is an extremely intelligent wolf, and is quick to make decisions, or start arguments. He has a very cold exterior, leading others to think that he is unfriendly and unwilling to make friends. The truth is, he is willing. He is incredibly loyal and devoted to his loved ones, and is willing to jump into a fire to save them, if that's what it takes. His devotion is to many things, however; sometimes, he is so focused on his work that he can't see that his goddamn friends want to spend time with him. This is what leads to others believing that he isn't a friend-type of wolf.
It is true, though, that he doesn't trust others easily.
True, though, Parthaeus is quite waspish at times, and can be easily frustrated and angered, especially when he's focused on something. He'll end up snapping at wolves who approach him, and shoo others away. An assertive wolf, he can be very persuasive, or, if that doesn't work, he gets his ideas through force. Parthaeus typically doesn't prefer violence, but if it's necessary, then so be it. He is very independent, with a strong sense of self-righteousness. He doesn't like to be oppressed, and will fight back hard.
Unfortunately, however, he does seem like the oppressive one from time to time. He has many who don't like him, and many who adore him.
Positives: Intelligent, brave, loyal
Negatives: Waspish, cold exterior, stubborn, distrustful
Neutrals: Independent, assertive, devoted

HISTORY
Father: Nosferatu (Thorian hell)
Mother: Pale Lavender (Soul eliminated)
Siblings: Lucifer (littermate/brother), Morrigan (littermate/brother), Flying Bravespark (half-brother)
Other kin: Thunderspark (Purgatory, nephew)
Parth's brothers Lucifer and Morrigan both followed eagerly in their father's pawsteps. Nosferatu was a large brute who managed to somehow charm Pale Lavender into becoming mates with him. She was a restless Transport wolf who visited the Thorian continent frequently, as she liked its beauty. She, along with Hydro, were the two main Transport wolves.
Nosferatu first met her when he went hunting, and decided that he would hunt her. After much pursuing, manipulating, begging, and lying, the two became mates. Soon after, Pale Lavender gave birth to Lucifer, Morrigan, and Parthaeus, in that order.
Parthaeus was late in opening his eyes, and because of this Nosferatu thought that the pup was mentally slow. So, ignoring Parthaeus, he took Lucifer and Morrigan out at an early age and began training them to become strong and powerful. Always easily competitive and jealous (also violent), Nosferatu pushed his eldest sons into fights with other wolves' pups and beat them harshly if they didn't win.
Lucifer and Morrigan thus grew up to be quite strong. Parthaeus desperately wanted to join, but his father dismissed him and said it was too late. Taking pity on him, his brothers taught him after their training sessions. Eager to be on the same level as them, Parthaeus trained hard, and, gradually, caught up.
His father, unfortunately, still wasn't impressed. It was only after when Parthaeus, now a knight, lead Lödengard to victory after a battle against a group of misfits that he began to pay attention to his youngest son. Lucifer and Morrigan were insanely proud and excited for Parth. Their younger brother-- whom they had taught-- had surpassed them! And became a Pack hero.
During their childhood, Pale Lavender had been growing more and more restless. Nosferatu had sensed this as well, and never let her out of his sight. He began beating her if she left the base alone, and, as a shadow wolf, he followed her invisibly whereever she went. Parthaeus, Lucifer, and Morrigan didn't know why their mother would return home looking tired and beat-up, and she refused to say anything. Their father stayed silent but furious. Finally, she couldn't take it anymore, and escaped to the Compass continent. There, she met a wolf from Southern Snow, Birchclaw, and gave birth to his son, Bravepup.
Again, after a while, she began to feel restless. She wanted to travel again. Bravepup had become Flying Bravestar now, and was perfectly fine on her own. Parthaeus had now become such a strong fighter that he had been promoted to beta, but she never witnessed that-- she vowed never to return to Thoria.
Birchclaw and Pale Lavender left Southern Snow to explore the world together. For about a year, they went all sorts of places-- except Thoria. One day, though, they stumbled upon a pack of rogues that attacked them viciously. Birchclaw was bleeding out and Pale Lavender barely had enough energy left.
"You've got to transport us," Birchclaw said to his mate urgently, as the Pack began to converge and head towards them. The leader's jaws were slack, and his sharp teeth gleamed in the moonlight, his eyes wild and crazy. They were aiming to kill. "Anywhere! Or we will both die."
With her last ounce of strength, Pale Lavender transported both of them away. However, disoriented, she didn't have an aim, and they landed with a thump at a random place.
For a couple days they spent hiding in the place they'd arrived, healing. They took it slow, and planned to leave in a couple of days.
The day before they were to leave, however, disaster struck. Birchclaw and Pale Lavender had been resting in their bed when a wolf stepped out of the bushes. Birchclaw immediately jumped up to protect his mate, but the stranger's eyes widened, and he stopped in his tracks.
"What's going on?" demanded a new voice, and two more wolves, looking very similar to the first, popped out. All three looked thunderstruck.
The first wolf stepped forward. He looked to be the youngest, yet was obviously the strongest. "M-mom?"
"Parth?" Pale Lavender whispered, standing up and moving past Birchclaw, who was now staring at the three silver wolves.
Morrigan was the one who made the mistake. He turned his head. "DAD! You'll never guess who we found!"
"What?" growled the familiar voice. Pale Lavender's nearly stopped in fear as Nosferatu came into the clearing to join his sons. Then, recognizing her, he narrowed his eyes. But for a while, he didn't say anything except--
"Who's this?" he jerked his head to Birchclaw.
Pale Lavender finally found her voice. "This... this is my new mate," she said, her voice quavering. "Birchclaw..."
She had barely finished saying Birchclaw's name when Nosferatu let out an angry, jealous howl and attacked Pale Lavender. Birchclaw shrieked and jumped on them both, fighting to claw Nosferatu off the female wolf. Parthaeus and his brothers looked on, not sure if they should help.
Pale Lavender attempted to transport away, but both Birchclaw and Nosferatu hung on, and all three disappeared. And that was the last any of the brothers ever saw of their parents. And stepdad.
Eventually, Parthaeus made his way up towards the alpha rank. But he never forgot the look his father had when he'd found Pale Lavender and Birchclaw. It haunted him. He had never been beaten like Lucifer and Morrigan, as he'd never been paid the same attention-- but that night was the night that he truly became afraid of Nosferatu. The jealousy had consumed his father, and he never wanted to see him again.
Would he?
